CJ is currently available. He is an approx. 3 year old JRT mix who came to us from a high-kill shelter where he was scheduled to be euthanized.

He is one of our harder to place pets. He has the typical JRT temperament, where his personality can be a little unpredictable, especially with new people. He first came to us very unsocialized with people and other dogs. He has made great progress and is now good with other dogs and is meeting and greeting with new people every day. He is great with our staff, who he knows and loves. We feel once acclimated, he will blossom in the right home with someone willing to give him patience and TLC.

We are looking to adopt CJ locally. CJ requires an adult only home with a securely fenced in yard, since we feel that will make it easier for an adopter to handle and acclimate him. He is good with cats and other dogs, but just needs to acclimate and make friends. He would not be good with children. He is crate trained and walks great on a leash. He requires patience, pampering and TLC to acclimate to a new home and family.

His adoption fee is $325

You must obtain pre-approval prior to visiting the dog or cat.

Adoptions fees include the following: spay/neuter surgery, microchip and registration, age appropriate vaccinations, initial dewormings, Activyl for fleas, tested for FeLV and FIV (cats only), bubble bath prior to going home (dogs only)

WE do not "HOLD" animals without an approved application and a non-refundable/non-transferable paid adoption fee. Adoptions are on a first come, first serve basis. We can not send extra pictures. WE do not ship, you must pick up the pet. Kitties must be transported in a secure cat carrier. Pooches require a "martingale" collar and a non-retractable leash.
