Soft, gentle, eager to please and affectionate, Volunteers at Molly’s Place use these words to describe my temperament. I’m Star, a 2 ½ year old Shepherd Mix gal weighing approx. 50# who wants to “Light up your Life” with love! The word “Star” means “Sprinkle or Adorn with or as if with Stars”.

I’m a VERY CALM, Cool and a “Well Balances Behaved” girl that is initially shy with new people, but I do warm up and want to be loved on. Due to this shyness, I do need a 4 ft fenced to allow me time to adjust. Once connected, I’ll gaze at you with my soft dark eyes highlighted by a shiny black coat and tan accents. You will then be “MY STAR” and hope for the life I pray for!

Good with ALL AGES of 2 leggeds folks, due to my initial skittishness, younger folks must be mature in manors, as quick actions make me afraid, NOT NASTY.

Although already leash and crate savvy, I am very smart, but have not had an opportunity to learn basic house manors. With my Shepherd intelligence and your coaching this will come quick.

Other “Shining” attributes are my love of toys, playful manors with other dogs and possibly cats. Yes, I am a “SOFT SOUL” with a BIG Heart who demonstrate tenderness and sensitivity.

You must obtain pre-approval prior to visiting the dog or cat. Adoptions fees include the following:    spay/neuter surgery,  microchip and registration,  age appropriate vaccinations,  initial dewormings,  Activyl for fleas,  tested for FeLV and FIV (cats only),  bubble bath prior to going home (dogs only) WE do not "HOLD" animals without an approved application and a non-refundable/non-transferable paid adoption fee.  Adoptions are on a first come, first serve basis.  We can not send extra pictures.  WE do not ship, you must pick up the pet.  Kitties must be transported in a secure cat carrier.   Pooches require a "martingale" collar and a non-retractable leash.
