I’m Matilda, AKA Momtilda, a VERY LUCKY PREGNANT GAL pulled from an over crowed shelter by Molly’s Place, in the nick of time. One Week later, I gave birth to “14” happy and healthy puppies! WOW, what a mother I was too! That was a heck of a lot of pups for one hound dog!

Being true to my breed, at approx. 3 years old, I weight about 65-70#. We coon hounds are not only known for our “Baying” bark, but also for being lovers of all! I’m good with kids, adults, LOVE other dogs and even good with Cats! Known to be very affectionate with a family, we Bluetick hounds bring smiles to everyone’s face! I’m a friendly gal that needs moderate exercise, love toys, am playful, intelligent and eager to please. Do I sound bias? Well, guess that’s because I’m the BEST THERE IS for love and companionship.

Although I will need some training, I got a lot of love and affection to give. My past times include romping with other dogs, long walks, then curling up to snooze in the shade or by my person. I am true to my breed with my prey drive, so a 4 foot fence is required my safety.

To submit an adoption application, visit mollysplacerescue.org. Fill the form out completely, print, scan and email back to mollysplace@verizon.net. You must obtain pre-approval prior to visiting the dog or cat. Adoptions fees include the following:    spay/neuter surgery,  microchip and registration,  age appropriate vaccinations,  initial dewormings,  Activyl for fleas,  tested for FeLV and FIV (cats only),  bubble bath prior to going home (dogs only) WE do not "HOLD" animals without an approved application and a non-refundable/non-transferable paid adoption fee.  Adoptions are on a first come, first serve basis.  We can not send extra pictures.  WE do not ship, you must pick up the pet.  Kitties must be transported in a secure cat carrier.   Pooches require a "martingale" collar and a non-retractable leash.
